Professional Experience
I am a strategist, writer and event planner with experience in a variety of sectors, including economic development, healthcare and the food industry. I've worked in communications for government agencies, academic medical centers and public relations and advertising agencies. I have served clients including Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and commodity boards.
Education
With a degree in East Asian Languages and Literature and a minor in Spanish Literature (1992) from Indiana University, Bloomington, I can order dinner in two languages (besides English). In 1995 I received an M.A. in Journalism from Indiana University.
Personal
My husband, son and I live in Ohio. In my spare time I enjoy creative writing and illustrating. I also like to travel and cook.
